A RECORD SETTING 12 DAYS — THANK YOU!!

*The 13th Annual 12 Days of Christmas*

Hooker & Boys whipped out another year of their tinsel town antics with the 13th Annual production of “The 12 Days of Christmas” on Saturday December 10, 2011.

Baltimore, Maryland’s Club Hippo set the stage for the greatest combined effort of the Drag, Leather, Straight, Bisexual, and Transgendered communities.

Shawnna Alexander, Summer Clearance, Karen Schwartz Crecelius along with Deb Jones and Susan Weinstein emceed a multitude of acts including singing, illusion, and skits.

People came from near and far donating their money, time and talent to make this year’s program a complete success.

During the production there was a simultaneous silent auction, bootblacking and pictures with Mr. and Ms. Claus.

This year’s production was dedicated to Momma Connie Cox, Daddy Joe Betz, Mr. Steve Jackson and Mr. Ron Zimmerman, Jr. for their continuing support of the LLGBSTQ Communities.

Special thanks to all those who performed, volunteered, attended, plus the crew, the sponsors and the kind contributors.

All money raised is being donated in memory of Mark ‘SPANKY’ Bialous, Kevin Steadman, Boy Joe Croteau, George Wong, Marty Puritz, Bill Finnerty, R.J. Ladd, Morrie Schwartz and John Bohli, Sr.

The 13th Annual 12 Days of Christmas raised a total of $11,400.00, which was an increase over last year.  This breaks down to $3,800.00 going to each of The Carter Johnson Leather Library “Sir Robert Davis Travel Fund”, Leather Archives and Museum “Women’s Leather History Project Mid-Atlantic”, and The S.S.C. Fund to benefit Suicide Prevention Education Awareness for Kids “deaf community outreach and services”.

The Big Room opens at 1pm for Boot Blacking With Members of The Boot Black Brigade and International Mr and Ms Bootblack and Our Own Mid-Atlantic Community Bootblack Leo among them. Lulus Kitchen, Beltons Cakes, Mamas Sandys Cherry Bombs…..Balls to Boots will be done by American Leatherman Tom Savage and American Leatherwomen Trinity …… SHOW at 2pm .. PLEASE TRAVEL SAFELY
